Bridgeport High School has a very involved, dedicated, meaningful and dynamic Parent Teachers' Association. Our PTA as one of our main stakeholders has worked tremendously well for the development of our students and our school community.
Membership of the PTA shall consist of all parents and guardians of students currently attending the school, and all teachers in current employ at the school. Additionally, friends of the school are welcomed as members, as accepted by the PTA Executive.
1. Develop effective relationships, cooperation and communication between the staff, School Board, parents and others associated with the School, for the purpose of advancing educational offering and delivery at the School.
2. Engage in activities or provide facilities or equipment that support the School and advance the education of our students.
3. Facilitate and organize social, educational and fund-raising activities to support its projects and activities
1. Bathroom renovation Projects.
2. Maintenance of the Picket Fences.
3. Provision of 10 Scholarships (Annually) to students for External Examinations.
4. Provision of Child Month Awards/Trophies for students' outstanding academic achievement - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Awardees from Semester 1 exams
5. Assistance with Cosmetology Department.
6. Parent Month Activities
7. Plans to upgrade the parking lot
8. Other activities that support the academic and social needs of students.

The PTA Secretariat Office is opened for consultations, PTA matters, donations etc. on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The PTA Secretariat is located next to the Dean's Office at the front of the school.

General Meetings of the PTA are held bi-monthly, and or unless when otherwise specially called. Meetings are usually Face to face, but can be Online. Meetings schedule for the academic are as follows:
Management of the PTA shall be by an Executive consisting of 5 office bearers, 1 or 2 teachers and up to 15 elected members. Members of the PTA Executive are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). They shall be elected for a two-year term and be eligible for re-election for a maximum of 2 terms. Election of officers are done every two years. The President elected must be a current parent at the time of election.
